By changing attributes do you mean those that are changed using chattr command?
I have checked it in both old and new themes and it worked just fine?
Have you tried force reloading the browser's page? If that didn't help, what module access control options are set to for File Manager? (in Webmin Users -> username -> Available Webmin Modules -> File Manager)? What is your login type?

I needed to change themes, which was somewhat painful, but finally got back to one I was using previously and everything seems to be working just fine. Actually the BW theme looks much better now.

Using file manager and try to change a file attributes, it says nothing is selected.
