Hi. I have been trying installing the SSL certifiate on my domain karobee.com, a website running on a VPS server with webmin and getting the following error as in the attached screenshot. I am a complete beginner, so please help me resolve this issue in the most simplest way possible. Thanks in advance !

    Hi,

Why not just remove autoconfig.yourdomain.com from the list?

    • Anindya Chakrabarty

      Hi.
I tried installing the SSL on www.karobee.com & karobee.com but the issue that I am getting now is that the WP admin or dashboard of the site shows the padlock sign but the main website doesn't. Need help on this ASAP!

    but the main website doesn't.

What do you mean by that? Both of www.karobee.com and karobee.com have valid certificates.

In case you cannot see the valid certificate when using Webmin panel, then you need to tell Webmin to use domain's certificate by poiting it to it in Webmin Configuration/SSL Encryption/SSL settings.

Anindya, hey! ;) What exactly do you want me to do? Would you like to be able to use karobee.com:10000 and have a valid certificate displayed for your Webmin Panel?

Just a side question - how did you manage to have your system up and running?

Actually I have installed the Lets Encrypt SSL available on Webmin but I am
not getting the padlock secure sign on my website.

Which website is that? karobee.com? It looks secure to me! Can you provide a screenshot of what do you mean unsecure?

It seems that your page's HTML contains some http:// links. Repalce all http:// and all https:// with // and you're good to go.

How to edit the HTML page? Just open it in text editor, on your virtualhost root folder, proably in ~/public_html/index.html and just do it.

I can see one index.php page.

Install this plugin for WordPress to solve this issue.
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/ssl-insecure-content-fixer/

  • Anindya Chakrabarty

Already installed that, still not resolved! After trying all of this I have come to this forum

Did you Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress?

  • Anindya Chakrabarty

    Yes and even configured it

    I have no idea.

Let me ask you, is it something Webmin devs should help you with? :)

Anyway, I would just search through your WordPress install folder for matching http:// and then deducted to what is causing it and fixed that.

It also may be cache issue, as when I run it it's okay with me. Try other browser, incognito window or force reload browser's cache. ;)

Ohh.. and don't use your IP as a host name in WordPress configuration.
