This possibly doesn't strictly fall into the 'Bug' category
as it is working as coded, but here goes anyway just
incase it was an oversight rather than deliberate.
The fastrpc starting port for webmin is hardcoded and
doesn't follow the default webmin port. This creates a
problem when you have a lot of firewalls and you want
webmin to us a different port range, as yoy have to
patch the fastrpc cgi. In my case, I would like the
starting port to be the same as the 'port' value in
miniserv.conf although I can also see the merit in having
the starting port another config option. Maybe a good all
round solution would be to default it to the webmin port if
no alternate port number is specified?

    Good point .. I can't think of any good reason why the
    starting port shouldn't be the way as the webmin HTTP port.
    I'll change this for the next (1.060) release.
