I think there is a problem with giving a user access to
hosts.
I have userX. Hosts was set originally set to "localhost"
and scripts like phpMyAdmin etc worked fine.
However, that user could not use unixODBC because it
requires a DSN value and not the server name. I
changed userX Host permissions to Any and unixODBC
works.
Now the scripts fail because it reads "Any" as text and
not a value encompassing all.
Workaround is create two users but not entirely
satisfactory.
