Running 2.202 on RPi Debian Linux 12.6. Config webmin->webmin->webmin configuration->Authentication under Authentication options "Auto-logout after <blank> minutes of activity is UNCHECKED. However, even with active browser webmin login times out after maybe 5 minutes.
when clicking anywhere on webmin it throws a popup "Session Expired you have been logged out" and the browser supplies the saved password and if one selects the Reauthenticate button one is logged back in and returned to the previous webmin page.</blank>
I think was also the case with webmin 2.201
That's odd ... are you actively using Webmin during these 5 minutes, or is it just open in your browser?
Just open in the browser. It doesn't matter which webmin page. Walk away
and come back and click on anything and the popup pops.

Which browser is that? Have you tried another browser without any extensions installed?
I have been configuring 3 identical RPi and had this problem with all 3.
I'm pretty sure it was happening with webmin 2.201 too. all 3 devices
just updated to webmin 2.202 which was the version that I last had the
popup relogin with and reported to you.
I have been using chrome. And after I had experienced this for several
hours and maybe 30 re-logins from the popup I reported it to you. then I
noticed that chrome wanted to update. it updated to 127.0.6533.120.
Now when I run the test I cant seem to make it happen again.
as far as I know I dont have any extensions.
I also noticed that firefox update to 129.0.1 at the same time.
So I have setup 2 tests, one each with firefox and chrome. I have webmin
authentic on the top-level SSH page. I will let them be for a few hours.
thanks
