Bootup and Shutdown now takes over a minute to show the list of bootup services. Previously it only took 10 - 15 seconds. The O/S is Ubuntu 18 Server, and it's been upgraded multiple times, from much earlier versions, so I'm assuming the slowness is due to accumulated cruft. Can you suggest anything I should be looking at to streamline things? It's currently using systemd, but used upstart previously.
How many bootup services does it show once the page finishes loading? Also, do you have the UI configured to show the running state of each action?
403 bootup services. About half of them are shown as inactive. Not sure which option you're referring to. Is it "Show current status of actions"? That was set to 'On index and action pages' and I just now set it to 'On action page only'.
403 seems like a lot! Can you attach the list of them to this bug report?
Sure. See attached.
Did changing the "Show current status of actions" option help with the speed at all?
