The problem is in File Manager, I am currently using Upload Download as a workaround and it's fine

    Hey, Helen.

If you force reload the page using Ctrl+Shift+R hotkey does it solve the problem?

If not, are there any errors on the browser's console when you try to upload the file?

Is the file actually uploaded properly? What what the file size?

file upload - no replace existing tick box and upload just sits there doing nothing

The checkbox to overwrite/keep the files upon operations (upload, compress/extract, encrypt/decrypt) was removed in favour of a global option which is located in File Manager ⇾ Preferences: Advanced options / Do not overwrite existing files.

I have changed preferences to Do not overwrite existing files - NO and it now uploads, thanks!

Good to hear, but it must work either way and simply create a new file.

For example, if you have index.html in a directory and you're uploading another index.html, it will simply be uploaded as index(1).html.
