Hi,

Since upgrading to webmin 1.980 from 1.979 the individual 1 backup file per server do not get deleted until the entire backup is completed of all virtual servers.

This is problematic potentially due to space issues instead of deleting the completed backup file under /tmp/.webmin/process#-backup-date after each 1 server is done being backed up.

The old behavior was this folder held the current virtual server being backed up and deleted after it was SSH uploaded and webmin moved onto the next virtual server to backup. With webmin 1.980 these files are being saved until entire backup is done.

Can this behavior be restored to how it was in 1.979. This bug was found while using Virtualmin 6.14.

Thank You,
Eric

Eric, note that the last version of Virtualmin is 6.16.

Thank you yes we know 6.16 Is latest.

As for the files in the temp folder are you saying those were the mysql dump files and NOT the individual overall complete server backup files?

We implemented the mysql fix while the backup processes was still running so next run these files in /tmp should not retain after each individual virtual server is backed up?

    Thank You

When doing backups, do you have the option to copy files to the destination one-by-one enabled?
