I updated MySQL to 8.0.11, but when I try to access it from Webmin, I get the following error:

The MySQL client program /usr/bin/mysql does not appear to be the correct version. Webmin only supports MySQL versions 3 and above.
The command /usr/bin/mysql -V returned :

/usr/bin/mysql Ver 8.0.11 for Linux on x86_64 (MySQL Community Server - GPL)

Looks like the output from mysql -V changed on version 8. I'll fix this in the next Webmin release.

Yes, the output is "-1"

The 1.883 development version of webmin from http://www.webmin.com/devel.html includes a fix for MySQL 8 detection.
