#4976 Apache module should allow easy enable/disable of hosts

It would be great if the apache module would allow the enabing/disabling of hosts without having to destroy them. (in a shell we can use simple commands like a2dissite and a2ensite). Are there any plans to add this functionality to the apache module? (or are they buried somewhere and somehow I have missed them?)

Unlikely, as this functionality is specific to the config used on Debian / Ubuntu, rather that using standard support in Apache for disabling websites.
