I went to webmin->Backup Configuration files to make a backup of the webmin configuration. I "included in backup" '/etc/webmin/miniserv.conf' and '/etc/webmin/backup-config/*', in order to backup the backing up schedule and the changed webmin port.
However, when I restore this backup, it won't restore the changed webmin port nor the backup schedule. I opened the appropriate files and no changes have been made.
When I check "Just show what will be restored?" in the webmin restore section the appropriate files do get listed.

Does this also happen if you try to backup and restore a file from outside of /etc/webmin ?

I tested with "/home/teamspeak/CHANGELOG", but that did not restore either. When I check "Just show what will be restored?" it doesn't even get listed.
As it turns out "/etc/webmin/miniserv.conf" is included in the backup by default, yet it does not restore.

My apologies - it turns out that Webmin doesn't actually restore those extra files from the backup at all :-( I will fix this in the next release though, and you can also restore them from the tar file manually.
