Hello,

With webmin 1.710 on centos6 64 bits, the status monitoring (status/index.cgi) of a software Raid partition (for exemple /dev/md0) show always that's raid is Ok but it's not right. With webmin 1.700 on the same system, the monitoring of a raid partition work well.

Best regards.

What does /proc/mdstat contain on this system when the RAID device is not OK?

    cat /proc/mdstat

    Personalities : [raid1]
    md0 : active raid1 sdb1[1] sda10
    204788 blocks super 1.0 [2/1] [_U]

    md1 : active raid1 sdb2[1] sda20
    1464931196 blocks super 1.1 [2/1] [_U]
    bitmap: 6/11 pages [24KB], 65536KB chunk

With webmin 1.700 the monitoring of webmin show the problem. With webmin 1.710 not.

    Best regards

    Hello,

Have you been able to reproduce the bug ? all version of webmin since 1.700 (also 1.740) have the problem. I use this monitoring for all of my linux servers :-(, is it possible to fix this bug in next release ?

    Best regards

    Hi Anthony,

I'm investigating this issue, it could be caused by some patches i provided recently, although i'm not yet able to reproduce this (on debian with all the latest raid patches on webmin version 1.660) i'm in doubt it has something to do with the raid patches. I will try to reproduce on a fresh centos 6 64-bit machine.

    Kind regards,
    Caspar

Well not really, this commit was not the cause and the commit to fix it does not fix the bug described here. I found the real cause in another commit and provided a patch to fix this bug.
