OS: Ubuntu Server 14.04
Postfix not installed on server
When a user (e.g. Admin) changes another user's Linux password and selects the Change Password in other modules option, the password change fails as I don't have the Webmin Postfix module installed. The error message is:
Failed to change password : Module postfix does not exist
With the Webmin Postfix module is installed, the password change still fails. The error message is:
Failed to change password : Failed to query Postfix config command to get the current value of parameter home_mailbox:
If the Change Password in other modules option is not selected the password change succeeds.
Could a fix be made such that I don't need to have the Webmin Postfix module installed?
Looks like you have mailbox syncing enabled, but no mail server installed. Webmin should really handle this better, but until I fix it in the next release you can edit /etc/webmin/mailboxes/config and remove all the lines starting with sync_
