#4434 Bug in Package Updates when package9 to package10
Webmin can register that packages can be upgraded, but cannot upgrade certain versions of packages. It is expected to have something to do with versions. Latest I got daily mails with 1.0.1e-2+deb7u9, 1.0.1e-2+deb7u9, 1.0.1e-2+deb7u9 etc. etc. that could not be upgraded. Look at the last '9' telling the version that is installet. All packages that could not be upgraded should be upgraded from '9' to 10'. Probably webmin somewhere compare the '9' to the '1' from the '10'.
Webmin can register the updates and can send emails about it
Webmin can count the updates on the status page
Webmin cannot list the updates on the package page
Webmin cannot update them - since they cannot be selected on the package page
Logging into a shell and running apt-get upgrade worked as expected.
Forgot... Webmin is running on a Debian server. Same issue on two servers.
