Some times we use static IP addresses to access webmin servers before DNS names are assigned.

Version 1.675 re writes the url from the ip address to the hostname. If no DNS record exists you can no longer access webmin.

    You can disable this behavior by adding no_resolv_myname=1 to /etc/webmin/miniserv.conf , and then running /etc/webmin/restart

    Webmin has always worked this way though.
