When I have pass_maxdays set and the system denies my login, then I change my password using the /usr/libexec/webmin/changepass.pl program , even though it successfully changes my password, the password age still reports the age since the password was created:

This came from the debug logs:
validate_user: Password is valid lc=1383772368 pass_maxdays=30
maxdays=30 daysold=57.8099768518519 temppass=

I think the program should reset the daysold value too when the password is changed.

    Thanks for pointing this out - I will fix this in the next release of Webmin.

      Awesome!! No problem glad to help out a little bit :) It is a great program. I've been using linux/unix since 94 in undergrad but just recently started using this tool to get help from others who aren't as shell knowledgeable as I am but can use a WYSIWYG tool. Thanks for making it available to the public.
