#4264 Mysql Backup Database - Improperly backs up views

Module/Command Location

Webmin -> Servers -> MySQL Database Server -> Backup Databases

When making backups using the MySQL Database Server Module the backups are incomplete.
If the database contains views, instead of including the appropriate CREATE VIEW syntax of the view, it creates a table that is representative of the View. (Without including data (data in a view is linked, so this shouldn't matter)

Backup should have produced something like:

CREATE VIEW v AS SELECT qty, price, qty*price AS value FROM t;

Instead outputs

CREATE TABLE v (qty, price, value);

Example is a representation of the error description not from actual attempt.

    Webmin doesn't choose what gets included in a MySQL backup though - rather, it just runs the mysqldump command and saves the SQL that it outputs. You should try running the mysqldump command manually and see if the same thing happens.
