What output do you get if you run :

    apt-show-versions | grep firefox

That is the command Webmin uses to detect available updates.

Well, I already installed the updated package - webmin will update if package is selected manually in the list.

    Right now apt-get shows this:

    firefox-locale-en/lucid uptodate 17.0.1+build1-0ubuntu0.10.04.1

And I can capture output if this happens again...

Ok, I was able to find and install previous version of the package - which immediately reproduced the behavior I described.

    Here is what apt-get shows:

    firefox-locale-en/lucid upgradeable from 17.0+build2-0ubuntu0.10.04.1 to 17.0.1+build1-0ubuntu0.10.04.1

Update availability shows in System Information and in package details only.

Ok, I see the issue now - the firefox version has parts separated by a + character, which Webmin doesn't expect. I will fix this in the next release.

Excellent, thank you for your support!
I'll wait for the update and will report if issue is fixed or not.
