Recent changes (BIND 9.9.0b2) have it storing slave records in RAW format. see: http://www.isc.org/community/blog/201111/bind-990b2-feature-update (near the very end of the page)
Previous versions stored slave records in more readable text format.
Viewing slave servers through Webmin have it displaying in difficult to read raw format.
Suggest using named-compilezone or equivalent to display human-readable output. See http://www.manpagez.com/man/8/named-compilezone/
Thanks .. since I don't have a system running BIND 9.9, do you have an example command that can take a raw-format zone and output it in text format?
Also, what does the raw format look like?
Here's what I see in PuTTy:

I've also attached the file.
The master file looks like this:

Thanks - but do you know of a command or library that can convert the raw format to regular records?
Reading of slave zones in raw format will be supported in Webmin 1.670.
