#1971 mysql/webmin interface acts broken

On a dual Xeon 2.0 GHz server with 1 GB of RAM, Perl 5.8.5, DBI
1.47 and DBD::mysql 2.9004, Webmin 1.180 will not display/provide
access to user and host permissions for mysql. Also, when I try to
view data in a table, nothing displays as if the page does not
completely load.

When attempting to create a new user, the rights option is empty,
i.e. no listing of permissions, and there is no submission button.

These phenomena are consistent across web browsers (mozilla,
firefox, safari, IE) and across platforms (mac OSX 10.3.8, Win2K sp

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Check on the Module Config page of the MySQL module that
your login and password for the database server are set
correctly. The login should typically be 'root' , so that
there are no permissions problems ..

Username and Password are fine. The module actually lists the
databases and you have some import funcitonality. The rest, however, is
hosed. Seems only to be the case with MySQL 4.1.10 and Webmin 1.180.

Could you attach a screen-shot to this bug report?

I am having the exact same problem. I'm using the latest
version of Webmin 1.260 and MySQL 4.1.18. I am RACKING MY
BRAIN trying to figure out what is wrong. I have a hunch it
has to do with MySQL itself. I never had problems with MySQL
4.0 or older versions of MySQL 4.1, but ever since around
4.1.15 (I think), I have been having the same problems.

The user/pass is fine and works. Things to help:

    - CAN see the databases
    - CAN see the tables
    - CANNOT see tables after clicking a database
    - CANNOT see User Permissions/Database Permissions/Host
    Permissions/Table Permissions/Field Permissions/MySQL Server

I have multiple servers running Webmin and this is the case
for all of them. PLEASE fix this.

You need to upgrade Webmin - version 1.80 is quite old, and
does not properly support user permissions in newer versions
    of MySQL.
