Please, it excuses my ingles bad, speak in Spanish.

When a virtual server with virtualmin is created, if the name of host is
greater of 16 letters, this is truncated to 16 letters, but virtualmin
forms like username the long name, result, the user cannot entry in
the control of MySQL

    Thanks, I see the cause of this problem - MySQL allows the
    creation of users with names greater than 16 characters, but
    silently truncates the name!
    The 1.9 version of virtualmin (due out today) will fix this ..

    I'm still experiencing this problem in v2.608.

    Was the fix from 1.9 rolled back?

    I just tested creating a Virtualmin 2.609 domain a really
    long name, and it's MySQL login was created with no problems ..
