RELATED TO BUG #896186
Virtualmin: 1.71
webmin: 1.130
As of the last 3 months, virtualmin hasn't been
configuring postfix at all. Then, just recently, I was
messing around with main.cf to try and see if I could get
sasl auth for smtp to work. Well at some point mail
stopped working. I restarted my box, and then WHAM,
virtualmin started administrating my mail again.
It's kinda nice to have it back, but now my mail is acting
funny. Mail in and out seems to work just fine, but I
can't send mail from one user on the box to another. I
can send mail find from the shell if I send it to "user".
But when I use squirrel mail to send mail from one user
to another it doesn't work "user@domain.com". Then,
after some messing around, I got one domain to work.
Mail worked perfectly on just that domain. Then I
opened virtualmin, looked at my domain, and then the
mail went back to "weird mode" (where it can't send e-
mail to self". I'm not sure exactly what is causing my
problems, but I think it has something to do with
the "Primary email address enabled" feature.
When everything was working correctly, checking "yes"
or "no" didn't matter. But now it does. I'm not sure
even what's happening at all. If you could explain what
that feature does it would be very helpful. Thanks!
