Well, I'm happy to announce that the first version of Web 2.0 Cart has been uploaded and is ready for alpha users. This is very raw code but stable enough that it's currently being used in 4 projects I have on-going. Currently this code is intended primarily for programmers, so non-programmers probably want to check back for the Alpha 1.00 release.
