Having found someone I can work with to flush out the design and feature sets for NoteTaker I am now in the process of a major redesign of the application. I am currently in the early prototype stages right now and working through a number of data design concepts. Next code post will likely be in late may early june at the current rate of progress.

The new design will be focused around a multi-view project information tool that will allow any tidbit of project info to be viewed from multiple project perspectives. Another iteration towards the final goal of a prod-stable and feature complete version. This release include improved admin controls and some ui tweaks. Also, this version has a new noteTaker.sql file containing data structures for newly evolving functionality.

Latest fixes and updates. New features and more behind the scenes clean up.

In my ongoing process of trying to keep noteTaker up to date with my actual work tasks I've made further improvements to the tool. While there is no new functionality present in this version there are improvements in presentation and print formatting. Additionally, there are internal improvements to the code to support coming features such as "Project Estimates" note types and related project functionality. (Other project centric tools will follow as I move from core development to feature improvement.)

Many defect issues addressed, one major bug corrected. At this focus shifts to core functionality and cleaning up HTML generation.

As of 2008-02-13 version 0.0.2a of web NoteTaker has been uploaded. This version includes significant improvements to UI layout, features, functionality, and user security. Coming soon will be user-level based security, multi-user support, printed output support, and web-installation.

Web NoteTaker is a php/mysql application intended for taking "official notes" at meetings. It allows for different kinds of notes, displays general note and action items separately. It allows you to maintain an attendee list and attribute notes to attendees.

The alpha level base code upload is available. This version is the base working version I developed for my use in my job. Its functional and useful.
