Hello Jorge,
My name is Michael and I'm using your great web-logbook application for some time now.
And first I would like to thank you for sharing it with all of us. Very much in Unix/Linux spirit -
small program doing limited set of things, but doing it very good.
As you might expect ;-), and as it happens often after gaining some experience with
any application, now there is desire to do little bit more with it. So, I was just wondering
if you could share your thoughts/plans about that.
One thing, I think, would be good to have is something more advanced in authentication area,
e.g. having user separation of some sort, with different set of permissions. In my case I'd like
to share logbooks with others, but in some cases without giving them right to change them, i.e. in read-only mode.
It's encouraging that you have that idea in your TODO list, and again I was wondering if you have any
specific plans for it?
Another question I'd like to ask is whether you think it would be possible to create entries in
logbook, say, from some script, i.e. without human intervention?
Would appreciate any suggestions you might have, of course, when you have time.
Thanks again,
Best regards,
Michael
