While I do understand some of the scripting involved with the config files I do not understand the high level.

I have downloaded Web Harvest to my laptop.

Do I run it from my windows xp laptop?

Is it executed from the command line like start\run\cmd?

Do I upload it to my webhost and execute it there?

Thanks in advance for your direction.

Web-Harvest is application written in Java and may be run on any computer having Runtime Java Environment (vesion 1.4+) including your laptop.

It can be run from command line or from your Java application - see Usage page
      http://web-harvest.sourceforge.net/usage.php.

If your web host enables Java applications, you may also upload it and execute it there.
