i get always this message if i try to use the Web-GMUI PHP Web Frontend.
Error authenticating to MLDonkey. Check your authentication settings in config.php
Ok what i tried so far:
1) using different logins -> doesn't matter
2) testing the logins with telnet -> password & user do work
3) looking up the connection @ mlnet.log -> 2007/05/04 08:51:55 [dCon] Telnet connection from 127.0.0.1
I'm using the latest version of Web-GMUI and mldonkey 2.8.5 patched with 5815.patch.
Anyone knows what the problem is?

the proplem is your version of mldonkey!
Try using 2.8.1 because versions above do not work (maybe CVS)!
