[Web-ftp] If a file fails to transfer completely will Web-ftp supply an err or?

I have been using Web-ftp successfully for 4 months - version 2.1.2.  My
problem is that a handful of ascii files have not transferred successfully
and the users were unaware of the failure. My question is if a file fails to
transfer will Web-ftp notify the user that the transfer has failed?
