Gently, I need some help to get started. I went thorugh the other messages, but it seems that all other users are already extremely experienced.
First of all, I don't even understand if my hosting meets the requirements. What does it mean, specifically, that webftp won't work on windows systems? I have a windows hosting but, however, it does have a working cgi-bin folder. Is that fine? In case, may someone suggest me any software which perform exactly the same task of webftp, but working on windows?
Secondarily, I read this sentece in the "install" file: "If you don't have it already, get a recent version of the Perl programming
language. Then go to your nearest CPAN mirror and get the Net::FTP module.
Net::FTP is in Graham Barr's libnet bundle". This sounds ancient greek to me. I did, however, checked the link and its content, and could not find any reference to anything named Net::FTP. Could you please expand the concept? And anyway, what should I do with Net::FTP? Is it a file? Should I upload it somewhere perhaps? And where, specifically?
Many thanks - M. Gilardetti
