Authors can receive unnecessary emails when submitting
revised papers (RA - from convenors only).
If a session organiser does not acknowledge this paper
receipt, the paper is still tagged as not yet submitted
and ‘false’ emails are sent reminding authors to upload
revisions (when a convenor sends a reminder to ‘all non
submitted revisions’. This can get some authors quite
annoyed.

**Problem:** Papers are often removed when authors notify
that they can not attend the conference, even after the
review was completed.
**Solution:** Email the reviewer with something like ‘The
author has withdrawn their paper and we thank you for your
valuable input to the review process etc’.
