How do I use "Why Can't I Connect?"
Test a connection to a MySQL Server.
I will attempt a connection to a MySQL Server. Enter the server name or IP address and port (the default port for MySQL Server is 3306.) I expect a response from this connection so I will wait for the response and close the connection on success.
