Thank for a great utillity :-)
I have a request - if you use the -j parameter "Just go mode" and you have a folder with the same name on different drives. Please start searching on the drive you are working on. If there is a match use this first.
Thank you

Hi Per,
Thanks :)
That is a nice idea. I will see what I can do.
kind regards,
Erwin
Hi Per,
I prefer not to change the current behaviour.
If you want to limit the search to the current disk, you can proceed the directory name with the drive name. E.g.:
wcd -j d:games
This feature was broken in wcd 5.3.3, 5.3.4 and wcd 6.0.0. Make sure you are not using one of these versions.
Is this sufficient for you?
best regards,
Erwin
Hi Erwin
Thank you for your response. I am very sorry to hear you don't like my idea. I find it very useful. I have the same folders on two different drives. -j parameter (Just go) should go to folder I am likely to want to go to. If there is a folder on my current drive I would likely prefere that folder - WCD with AI ;-)
I very much like your utillity an maybe I get used to adding the drive in commandline :-)
Thank you for your consideration
Best regards
Per
Hi Per,
Adding the drive is not the same as what you want, because you will not find a match on other drives when there is no match on the current drive.
I will not change the current behaviour, because it would be unexpected behaviour for other users who don't want a preference for the current disk. But the behaviour you want could be put under a new wcd option.
I assume that if you type the same wcd command again, you want to go to the next match on the current disk, never to another disk.
What to do if you want to a directory on another disk, and there is a match on the current disk? You could add the drive, if you know on which drive it is Or you add option -j to get the standard behaviour again.
