A PHP backend designed to be scraped by XBMC (PC or XBOX) for the purpose of negating the necessity of using the SMB protocol. This project aims to "KISS", while providing great functionality. A minimal frontend is provided for those who don't have XBMC.

The purpose of this project is to allow access to your home media library while on the go, all you would need is your original modded Xbox (with XBMC). Now that the Raspberry Pi is out, it would benefit too!

This project seems to have stalled due to lack of documentation of the XBMC implementation of Python. (A plugin for XBMC written in Python is required to take advantage of this project.) If I could get someone to write the plugin, I would finish the backend. This project is not trying to re-implement youtube, which is why it is so minimal.
