#4 cannot set the newly downloaded version as default audio player

Hi, firstly I would like to say thank you for the great job done, I've being using wavesurfer for over 8 years and it has never let me down.. well, except for now but I guess this is just a small problem, probably on my side.
I've being trying since this morning, after I downloaded the new version, to set it as the default for my audio files but its not being taken.
The version I had before was working perfectly, it was a very old one and I deleted it completely ... :( cannot retrieve it.
Any chance you could help me?
