Only letting host set player position/colour probably fixes a race condition occuring if a player changes name while the host moves the player. Sending new players info about allocated slots fixes some weird cases with inconsistent positions (and missing slots), for example, if moving a player and starting a game, leaving the game (without closing the program), and starting a new game.
