Unfortunately the project has had to be quiet with no explanation for some time, this is because the software was used as an idea for my final year project to get my degree.
Warp was changed in several fundamental ways, including a switch to python as a programming base, this has resulted in a faster development cycle but as yet there is still no 1.0 release, however GTK has been chosen as the GUI of choice and many improvements have been made.
I have also set up a self hosted subversion repo, for easier back up purposes the new url is svn://aedentide.ath.cx/svn/aedentide
The folder labelled pywarp is where warp development continues in now, there are quick launch scripts for both Ubuntu and Fedora systems, due to trying to understand GTK and threading in this application many bugs remain but I hope you'll see how much work has gone into this over the past year.
I can now officially release the new code because my assignment has been marked and there is no legal issue with me possibly being accused of plagiarism, again sorry for the lack of activity but it was necessary.
