Just thought you'd like to know our ideas:

"tested 0.4 on a generic laptop with a cabletron/oricino.
picked up the orinoco_cs driver no problems. boots v/
quickly.

had problems with kismet (modify the hosts file - add
WarLinux04/127.0.0.1 to get it kicking). the readme
states that this is currently not working.
pump for dhcp.
wavemon works ok.
nmap 2.54b33 included.
ifconfig appears to be a busybox cutdown version, a
frontend to ifconfig/iwconfig would be nice
no ssh client, no airsnort

perhaps the lnx-bbc project could be used as a starting
base, this includes X (vesa 800/1024!)and networking,
plus apps in a 50MB download. "
