#7 0.5 iwconfig error messages

I tried to use v. 5.0 in my Fujitsu-Siemens laptop, but
something is not ok.
prismsniff works fine, but iwconfig keeps generating error
messages for every cmd I tried. also kismet wouldn't
run, and wavemon, even though it actually runs, it
doesn't list anything. (Of course, due to errors of
iwconfig, I can't setup my wireless card, so that may be
it).
I'm a complete newbie, so any help would be
appreciated.
