Argh...school takes valuable coding time away

So there's bad news and good news. The bad news is that classes are stealing my life for the foreseeable future, preventing the kind of in-depth work needed to refactor this code. The good news is that those classes include a course in OpelGL which will require a term project - my plan is to do a frontend to this program as that project, meaning that you all can expect an OGL-powered version within the coming months. I'm also learning nCurses, so hopefully those who would rather not use all of the OpenGL libraries and such can still get an improved UI with (hopefully) saner controls than the current ASCII one.
