I no longer have the time (read: new baby) to enhance/maintain hobocopy. If you'd like to take it over, please contact me at candera@wangdera.com. You'll need modest C++ skills. I'm open to moving the code to somewhere else, or we can keep it here.

This release of HoboCopy fixes several major bugs and is a recommended update for all users. As of this release, HoboCopy is at 1.0 status - stable and recommended for use.

Highlights of the 1.0 release:

* Support for Vista.
* Support for filename filters.
* Fixed component selection logic.
* Default to non-recursive copy.

! WHAT IS HOBOCOPY?

HoboCopy is a backup/copy tool. It is inspired by robocopy in both name and in
functionality. It differs greatly from roobcopy, however, in two respects:

1) It is not as full-featured as robocopy.
2) It uses the Volume Shadow Service (VSS) to "snapshot" the disk before
copying. It then copies from the snapshot rather than the "live" disk.
