I have a set top box and I want to slow down the packets coming to/from a PC I use to stream images from.
The issue is that the STB makes the connection and takes it's IP setting from a DHCP sever I built on the network.
I cannot add a  route to it except via basic DHCP.
Is there any way I can get this to go through the WANem box to get to the image server?

You can set the default gateway of the STB to WANem IP using DHCP.

I've been trying to do this but it doesn't work for me. If I add a route to an external address I can ping it and see the delay in latency.

If I set up my gateway using the WANem IP address I don't get any traffic out. I've tried on another PC, my phone and my Xbox and none of them can get outside access.

EDIT: I am setting the IP address on these devices manually, not via DHCP.

EDIT 2: I added a static route for these devices using my router and I'm still not get data outside of the network.
