#1 wamp server 2.1e issues

I installed this on a Windows 7 64bit machine for use with Joomla 1.6 development. Unfortunately, localhost and MyPHPAdmin both come up as blank white pages and despite the latest version of Mozilla being installed and defaulted wamp is not detecting it. I have not been able to find any documentation for this so I had no choice but to seek help here. Any help is greatly appreciated!
