w3m 0.5 released

w3m 0.5 is released. This release is the first release with m17n features that has been provided as m17n patch by Hironori Sakamoto. w3m is a pager and/or text-based browser. It can handle table, cookies, authentication, and almost everything except JavaScript.

w3m 0.4 released

w3m 0.4 has been released.

It has many enhancements from previous releases.
Major new features in 0.4 release are:
* tab browsing
* customizable mouse operations
- options for wheel mouse operations
* 2 stroke keybinding
* undo for cursor moves
* background downloading
* data: URL support

Hironori SAKAMOTO <hsaka@mth.biglobe.ne.jp> found a security vulnerability
in w3m 0.3.2 that w3m will miss to escape html tag in frame contents,
so malicious frame html will deceive you to access your local files, cookies
and so on.... read more
