Dear vym users,
I have been approached by the KOffice team, they are interested in a KDE
version of vym.
I am aware of various pros and cons regarding a complete move of vym
from QT to KDE, and I'd like to get your input.
For example there probably would not be a native version for Mac
anymore, just a X11 one. (I now use Linux on my powerbook, so I maybe
could live with that.)
On the other hand vym would benefit from better print dialogs and
overall integration into the system, e.g. network transparent file
dialogs. Also we would probably get a bigger usergroup due to the many
languages for which KDE is translated.
What do you think?
