i tend to export (html) all my maps into one directory. unfortunately the export dialog defaults to ~/
i would be convenient to change the defaults, so that i dont need to select my export directory manually every time.

    In the export dialog there is a checkbox, if settings should be saved - the path is one of these, so it should work already, at least if you just do "export in last format".

    The filedialog though seems to have a problem defaulting to the right directory, that could be a Qt bug in recent versions, as it worked before.

    The directory can be safed within the map, and can be reused next time. Maybe related would be a default export directory for new maps?

    default export directory sounds good, too.

    Ah, the exportDir is already there, seems I planned better for future than I thought :-)

    When doing an HTML export, unset the "Save settings in map" section, which would override the default settings.

    Then edit $HOME/.config/InSilmaril/vym.conf and add the entry "html/exportDir":
    [export]
    useHideExport=true
    html\showWarnings=yes
    html\showOutput=yes
    html\exportDir=/tmp

    So the only thing left would be to add a GUI for that, not sure if I find the time soon...
