I think the question was should David report bugs he sees on the
dashboard. To which I think the answer should be no. There is no point
and extra effort in reporting, updating and clearing the same error twice.
I don't know about elsewhere, but here at Imorphics we watch the
dashboard regularly and fix errors there long before we go looking on
the bug tracker for problems.
Build errors that are not described by the dashboard should indeed be
reported to the bug tracker. Additionally, David, you are welcome to
prod the mailing list if you see problems that you feel are being
ignored on the dashboard. Bear in mind that errors in the contrib
library cannot often easily be fixed by anyone except the authors.
