My 2 cents:
Since the dashboard is such a mess today I suggest that the tagging of beta release 2 be delayed. I
think someone should just announce a new date about a week from today. It would be a good idea to
have a 2 day code freeze before the release is tagged. During that period we should allow only "bug
fixes that people are pretty sure won't cause any problems". Anything else should just hold off on
the commit. It would be nice to see no errors and all tests pass for all platforms on the dashboard
when the release is tagged. Perhaps that could be the beta release criteria?
