I checked in some stuff today, and then fixed a few minor problems in
brl/bseg/sdet/sdet_grid_finder.cxx, which has an apparent version as
cvs status sdet_grid_finder.cxx
File: sdet_grid_finder.cxx Status: Up-to-date
Working revision: 1.9
Repository revision: 1.9
However the cvs respository status visible on the sourceforge website,
is version 1.6.
Why don't the versions agree?

This is "normal". Because of system overloads, SourceForge is using a
"backup" cvs server for pserver access and for web-based viewing. This
backup server is out of synch by a few days. (Although I remember
someone saying the period may be as large as a few weeks.)
The ssh-based cvs access should get you an up-to-date repository. As
far as I know, all the dashboard builds use ssh-based access, so
"broken build" emails should be accurate.
