#1 No windows open crashes VWM

FYI, extreme newb.
I have installed VWM on Gentoo 2008. First installed libpseudo, libviper. Tweak some directories to get it to compile. Fire it up. With no windows open, I alt+w then ctrl+q to close manager window, then alt+w out and get a sig11 as follows:
