I am trying to authenticate against the university's LDAP server. But I am having the weirdest problem.
1. When I use a real username and any password I authenticate as that username.
2. Any use of a fake username and any password I authenticate as a real user for example "bobwhite".
"bobwhite" is a legit user. "bobwhite" is the user that called the ldap admin to set up our vufind ldap. I find that unique... Before I notify the ldap admin of the problem, is it anything that vufind is doing?
Perhaps Smarty Caching? I am at a loss right now.
Here is the main idea:
LDAP is defaulting to a real user when given bad user info
LDAP does not like to look at passwords.
